Some opinions from practical experience:

Anton Siemer, Sports Director of the LG Osnabrück. (The LG Osnabrück is one of the largest and most successful track & field communities in Lower Saxony. Among other things they made a name for themselves as the host at the "Gretesch Live" meeting with the German Championships and the qualifiers for the European Championships, World Championships and Olympics.)

The Osnabrück Track & Field Community has been using Schäper sports equipment for many years and can recommend them with conviction to other potential customers. Schäper equipment is "good value for money" as opposed to being "cheap". All too often we come across "cheap" sports equipment which has been purchased for cost reasons. However, if you look at the durability or the costs for set-up and maintenance, sports equipment of this kind does not turn out to be cheap but in fact expensive. Going on our own experience, we can only recommend that interested parties or decision makers make a personal scrutiny of any equipment on offer – if possible, in a direct comparison.

As a rule, the differences stand out clearly even for decision makers who are not so acquainted with track & field. With larger purchases, it goes without saying that Schäper inspect the site and consequently have an experienced member of their staff on the spot for advice and consultation. Delivery and set-up is done by the firm’s own staff, the equipment is handed over "clean-swept" and ready for use, if necessary with some instructions.

With sports equipment from Schäper, you can rest assured that the reasonably-priced apparatus will deliver what it promises: TOP quality, GOOD handling and a VERY GOOD price-performance ratio. In the course of converting a hard court surface to an artificial grass surface, the Dahl-Friedrichsthal Track & Field Association planned to acquire some new movable goals. For this reason, the board of the Dahl-Friedrichsthal Track & Field Association had a close look at many different goals and consequently many different firms. In the end, we decided on the Schäper company from Münster.

The reasons for the decision were the high quality of the equipment along with the quick and uncomplicated service. All their offers were made and sent to us quickly and precisely, and the on-site consultation was very good and informative. It was also important for us that the company who got the order would inspect the local conditions (in particular with respect to the danger of goals tipping over) and also would evaluate the goals we already had on the site. This was also carried out by Schäper and we fully approved of their work and were completely satisfied with it. The Schäper people on site came to the conclusion that our goals for large fields (in sockets) were still completely serviceable. This also saved us additional costs. Schäper quickly organised the spare parts we needed for the goals and we fitted them ourselves.

The Dahl-Friedrichsthal Football Club was completely satisfied with the work and performance of the Schäper company from Münster and would be more than happy to provide references for them.

 "As a goalkeeper trainer I have worked on many sports grounds, so I have had many opportunities to have a close-up look at the advantages of Schaeper goals. On one sports ground I saw a Schaeper training goal and after asking those who run the club it turned out that the goal was more than 15 years old. The goal was neither bent nor crooked and there were no cracks in the welds even though the goal was in daily use. At the other end there was a training goal, 10 years old, which looked like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The welding was all cracked and the ground frame all bent. Before the game the goalposts had to be straightened up. And that is the reason why I have decided on fully-welded goals from Schaeper which will definitely "outlive" me as a goalkeeper trainer.... and all that for a very reasonable price."

‘Here at the Leerhafe-Hovel Track & Field and Sports Association we had two goals from Schäper delivered for our football youth teams almost exactly 10 years ago. Two new goals for the youth teams, well, they will have to last a good few years, was the unanimous opinion in the association. The stability and craftsmanship was SUPER, and even though the goals have been involved in quite a lot of ‘action" in the meantime they still look almost as good as new. Now we have so many more teams, above all for girls’ football, that these two goals are no longer enough to fit in all the games. And so we have had to get two new goals. For us there was no question about it that we would purchase these too from Schäper. Quality pays!"

For us, their products (goals incl. accessories, take-off boards, shot put circles, etc) are characterised particularly by outstanding durability. In addition the products are to a large extent compatible, i.e. the goal accessories for example can be interchanged for repair.
